Info Research position for a pottery technology specialist (petrography) Job
description The New Perspectives on Ancient Pottery project is looking for a 1
year visiting researcher / postdoc, specialized in archaeological pottery
research, focusing on the technological aspects of ancient pottery, experienced
in the use of petrographical analysis, and preferably also in coordinating
chemical analysis. The candidate is expected to be able to dedicate her/his
skills to a project which incorporates a variety of approaches to pottery from
different places in Greece and Central Italy, dating from the Bronze Age till
the Hellenistic period. Besides research, a large part of the work will involve
supervision of junior researchers, and managing parts of the project, in
cooperation with its senior research staff
