Overview The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation/Wellcome Trust Diabetes and
Inflammation Laboratory (DIL; Director, Professor John Todd)
(http://www-gene.cimr.cam.ac.uk/todd ) has been at the forefront of recent
developments in our analysis of the genetics of type 1 diabetes (T1D), with over
50 loci now associated with the disease. We are continuing efforts to detect
additional genetic loci, localise causal variants and understand their function.
