Normative foundations of a 'Just Post Bellum' (m/f) (38 hours a week)
Vacancy number: 10-239 The first PhD position will examine the origin,
scope of application and reception of 'Jus Post Bellum' in the ethics of
warfare and contemporary international law. It will analyse the evolution,
definition, trigger mechanisms and modern applications of the concept, including
its relationship to jus ad bellum and jus in bello and its use as a constraint
on violence and as an instrument of conflict-management.
