Info Applications are invited for the position of an Experienced researcher for
a duration of 2 years. Job description The research comprises: •    mapping
the functional syncitium in the detrusor wall containing the interstitial cells
nerves and ganglia and the afferent system originating in the bladder •   
mapping of links to the central nervous system of this afferent system using
electrophysiological and tracer techniques •    Identification of
differences in mapping, connections and physiological sequellae in different
animal models that imitate human conditions such as  infravesical obtruction, 
overactive bladder syndome and Alzheimers disease. Requirements Requirements:
•    Active interest in the areas of: - translational neuroscience -
neuronal control of and interaction with physiological processes •   
Experience in the fields of: - Electrophysiology - signal processing - nerve or
muscle physiology - molecular biology - immuno-histochemistry •    A PhD
in: - Biology - Neuro (physiology) - Molecular biology - Electrophysiology -
